"da lok" lo...

Today I had my English test called TOIEC.
I never heard this before in Malaysia.
Anyway, this is famous in Japan.
Hard? Not so hard.
Easy? may be it is SPM standard? (I actually forgot the level of SPM...)

According to my Japanese friend,
the normal undergraduate will get 400-500 marks out of 990 marks.
But in my opinion, the English foundation of Japanese should be better than Malaysian.
I'm not taking about "banana" here.
I studied Chinese, speak Mandarin.
Japanese studied Japanese(abo then?), speak Japanese(abo then?)
But Japanese divided into original Japanese(Hiragana) and imported Japanese(Katakana).
Those imported Japanese is basically English!
Japanese translate English into Katakana.

The important point here is,
there are quite a lot of the katakana that I don't understand.
For example,
Up = appu
Good = guddo
Stoic = sutoikku
Dandy = dandi

Frankly speaking, I don't understand the last two words that showed above.
>.What to say? Who to complain?
I can only say, "da lok" lo (hok chiew)....
I actually learn my English from Japanese!
How cool is that??

勉強になります!
